“Everybody can be great… because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.”
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
I am Brittany Fitzpatrick, “Brit” for short.
I am the Communications Coordinator for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis.
I have my M.A. from the University of Memphis (c/o 2011) and my B.A. from Howard University (c/o 2009), both in journalism with a concentration in PR, the former with an added concentration in digital media.
My favorite book is “Their Eyes Were Watching God” by Zora Neale Hurston. I think I could have been Janie in another life.
Some random facts about me…Aside from reality television, I am also addicted to Smoothie King, and, if I could afford it, I would go there at least twice a day.
I also find guilty pleasure in horribly bad Lifetime movies, especially on rainy Sunday afternoons, and when Tori Spelling is playing the lead role (which is about 62 percent of the time, I checked).
If you have any questions about me or this blog, feel free to shoot me an email.
I look forward to reading your thoughts and comments!
